About Nick

Nick Swift is Sonardyne’s Business Manager for Maritime Security, bringing to the position a wealth of experience having worked for prominent defence and maritime security companies. Leading the Maritime Security team in the next stage of its growth and development, Nick has been instrumental in the research, development, testing, sales and continued support of Sonardyne’s leading underwater acoustic maritime security products NOAS, Solstice and Sentinel.

About Ross

Ross Gooding is Sonardyne’s Business Development Manager for Maritime Security and has a wealth of experience in the sector gained from his extensive Ministry of Defence background in the field of technology research and transfer. Ross joined Sonardyne in 2008 with a goal to grow the Maritime Security segment of the business. And grow it he has. Successfully developing new market sectors alongside traditional sectors, under Ross’ watch Sonardyne’s maritime security products have rapidly progressed to achieve market leading status in both capability and sales figures.




About Peter

As a well-established member of the team, having worked at Sonardyne International for over 13 years, Peter Tomlinson brings a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of subsea systems to his role as Sonardyne’s Engineering Manager of Maritime Security. During his tenure at the company Peter has initiated and managed a vast range of projects, providing a concise level of understanding for him to call on as he progresses with managing the output of the Sonardyne engineering team, ensuring that all products meet the organisation’s commitment to innovation and quality.




ABOUT GARY

Gary Male joined Sonardyne International in 2006 as the Customer Services Manager responsible for Global Support and Field Engineering for the entire subsea Acoustic Navigation and Positioning product portfolio. Since 2009, Gary has been employed as Sonardyne’s Operations Manager for Maritime Security. Previously occupying a post in the UK Ministry of Defence for 6 years, Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his current role where he manages the Maritime Security project delivery team on all aspects of post sales activities. In addition, he is tasked with supporting the Maritime Security Business Development team in the negotiations and acquisition of major customer orders. Stand out successes to date involve the installation of 90 permanent and expeditionary Diver Detection Systems including commissioning, final acceptance testing and documentation delivery, together with the largest purchase order Sonardyne International has booked to date.

ABOUT ANDREW

Having cut his teeth in the mobile communications industry for 25 years, Andrew Wood is Sonardyne’s Maritime Security and Defence Sales Manager for the Americas. Experienced in selling wireless communications and GPS systems into the defence and security industry as well, and with many years working in the sector under his belt gleaned from servicing leading defence accounts, Andrew has in a short space of time proven to be a valuable member of the team. Recently having joined Sonardyne, Andrew’s key responsibilities are delivering our market leading maritime security products to a wide array of customers in the Americas and servicing their after sales requirements.
